The recent Advertising Age article regarding the progress made by CBS in their online marketing is obviously well timed, as this is one of the strongest sports programs for the network.

Last year 7.5 million people watched the NCAA tournament online while 130 million watched on television.  In 2010 CBS is projecting $37 million in digital revenue, up 20% from last year for their on demand March Madness coverage.

With all of their inventory sold out for March Madness, and considering the challenges every traditional publisher faces, the results for CBS from the NCAA tournament is sure to turn some heads.
