The Fontainebleau Hotel, Home of the ANA Conference
Consistently one of the top Multicultural Conferences each year, the Association of National Advertisers’ Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference is one that I look forward to each year. Combining a focus on marketing as well as diversity management, the ANA Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Committee continues to educate and inform its members and industry leaders.
While additional Census data will be forthcoming in the upcoming months, there continues to be a significant amount of research and information supporting the importance of multicultural markets. In 2010, it is likely that births to Hispanic, Black, and Asian women will account for 50% of all births in the U.S. and will continue to increase, thus making multicultural the new mainstream.
Highlighting the companies who have made tremendous efforts as well as examining their successes and failures is important for every marketer that is even starting to consider how to reach the diverse Hispanic, Asian American, African American and LGBT communities.
The conference is always attended by top client side marketers and executives and takes place this year at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach Sunday, November 7 – Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Featuring the 2010 ADCOLOR Awards Dinner and Awards, as well as executives from such companies as The Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Best Buy and more, the event promises to be both entertaining and informative.
