At only 30 years old, Gustavo Dudamel, a Venezuelan born, is the Los Angeles Philharmonic´s 11th Music Director. Gustavo has not only inspired a young generation of artists and musicians, but also Hispanics in the US and all over the globe.
The LAPhil performs at the Walt Disney Concert Hall which “is designed to be one of the most acoustically sophisticated concert halls in the world, providing both visual and aural intimacy for an unparalleled musical experience.”
As a Hispanic, I feel deeply proud of Gustavo’s talents and accomplishments. I applaud the LAPhil for giving opportunity to a young and foreign conductor who brings us all a fresh outlook to classical music. Bravo Gustavo, Bravo LAPhil!
