Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by visiting 5 landmarks in Hispanic countries

Hispanic Heritage Month  is observed from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.. During this month, US celebrates the cultures and traditions of those who can trace their roots to Spain, Mexico, and the Spanish-speaking countries of Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

There are some good reason to think about its importance, from the marketing perspective. According to Pewresearch:
1. The U.S. Hispanic population reached 60.6 million in 2019, up from 50.7 million in 2010.
2. The share of U.S. Hispanics with college experience has increased since 2010.
3. The share of Latinos in the U.S. who speak English proficiently is growing.
4. People of Mexican origin account for slightly over 60% (37 million) of the nation’s overall Hispanic population as of 2018.
5. The fastest population growth among U.S. Latinos has come among those with origins in Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Honduras.
6. Florida and Texas are home to the highest shares of Latinos among immigrant eligible voters.

In order to celebrate this month, we selected 5 different locations to show them using 360-degree videos. Below check out 5 landmarks and tourist spots in 5 Hispanic countries:

1. Chile

Chile is a long, narrow country stretching along South America’s western edge, with more than 6,000km of Pacific Ocean coastline.

Santiago, its capital, sits in a valley surrounded by the Andes and Chilean Coast Range mountains. The city’s palm-lined Plaza de Armas contains the neoclassical cathedral and the National History Museum. The massive Parque Metropolitano offers swimming pools, a botanical garden and zoo.
